We don't want a furnace repair this winter

I truly remember when the heating plan was having concerns at the office.

It became so cold there and everybody kept telling the management to call the Heating and A/C corporation.

The management did call the Heating and A/C corporation but were told they couldn’t come out for a few afternoons because they were backed up. Since our management didn’t want to pay for emergency Heating and A/C expenses, everybody had to wait. This caused a lot of people to bring in portable furnaces until the Heating and A/C plan was laboring again. The management didn’t have a concern with this until somebody’s oil furnace started a fire. I think the oil furnace fell over onto some paperwork and started it on fire and then the fire started to spread abruptly. Fortunately, the sprinkler plan engaged and put the fire out relatively abruptly. If it weren’t for the sprinkler system, everybody could have been burned up. Every one of us all still had to evacuate the building until everything was tested out and determined to be safe. You think it’s crazy that they asked everybody to please stick around and continue to work, but everybody was feeling a bit traumatized from the experience. A lot of people just went lake cabin but came back the following day. Fortunately, the Heating and A/C professionals did come out to service the oil furnace. It’s crazy because the injure from the fire was more overpriced than what an emergency service would have cost, I hope our management team takes that into account. I mean, this all could have been avoided, but now they think how dangerous portable furnaces in the office can be.
