This winter has been very cold, and normally I rely completely on my furnace to keep me warm during the cold winter months.
However I forgot to have my furnace service before the cold winter months arrived and as a result of this my furnace stopped working. I guess I wasn’t the only one to have issues with their furnace breaking down during the cold winter months because when I called a heating and air conditioning company to have them come out and service the furnace I found that they were all booked up. Not only this would be a really big issue because I would have to call an emergency HVAC services but thankfully because I have a backup heating system I don’t have to. I have a space heater that I bought from my local heating and a/c business last year and I’ve been having it stored away all year just waiting for the right opportunity to use it. I didn’t think I would ever have to use it because normally my friend is so reliable, but now that it has broken down it was a perfect time to try it out and see if it would work well. But I tried the space heater, the space heater while it may have only heat one room, it did an excellent job so I didn’t have to pay any expensive HVAC emergency repair fees and I gotta stay nice and warm during the cold winter months. Next year, I will remember to schedule an appointment with my local HVAC company so my heater doesn’t break down on me when I need it the most.
