During the cold winter months, I usually rely on my furnace to keep me warm.
The winter of this year, however, has been extremely cold.
As a result, when the cold weather hit, my furnace stopped working because I forgot to have it serviced before the winter months. As a result, I was unable to get in touch with a heating and air conditioning company during the cold winter months to schedule a service visit for my furnace. It seems I wasn’t the only one with a broken furnace during the cold months. Additionally, this would be a really big problem since I would have to call an emergency HVAC service, but I don’t have to because I have a backup heating system. Last year, my local heating and air conditioning company sold me a space heater that I have kept hidden all year just waiting for the right time to put it to use. Since my unit is so reliable, I didn’t expect to use it, but now that it has broken down, it was a perfect opportunity to try it out. But I tried the space heater. While it may have only heat one room, it did an excellent job and I didn’t have to pay any expensive HVAC emergency repair fees. Instead, I gotta stay nice and warm during the cold winter months. Next year, I will remember to schedule an appointment with my local HVAC company so my heater doesn’t break down on me when I need it the most.
