I could not figure out what the peculiar odor was that was coming from the air vent.
- I tried to wipe the air vent, however it didn’t help… Every afternoon, the odor was getting stronger, & I was getting aggravated.
I talked to my partner about the odor, although he didn’t spend any time in my yoga studio, so he didn’t notice any change. I called the Heating & Air Conditioning supplier & made an appointment to have a worker come to the house. When the Heating & Air Conditioning arrived, he said he could not see anything, although he wanted to know when we had the ductwork cleaned. I could not remember ever having the ductwork cleaned, so I had him made an appointment with the ductwork cleaners. Three afternoons later, I had the ductwork cleaners in the house. They took care of for any holes or cracks where bugs could get inside, however that seemed to be fine. After cleaning & sanitizing the ductwork, I was told that should take care of our problem. Two afternoons later, I noticed the odor again. It wasn’t until my partner was outside splitting the lawn that we solved the mystery of our odor. My pet was using the air vent to relieve himself when there was no 1 inside to let him out of the house. The only good thing about that situation was that I was blissful it wasn’t winter, where the odor may have been even worse. I was now wondering where we were going to put in a catgie door that leads into the backyard. I’m blissful it doesn’t need to be a giant door.
