After putting a new air conditioning in the house, I was wondering if I had gotten the right one.
We had fifteen dogs and six cats in our house, and I always worried if they smelled.
I noticed nothing, but our neighbor did. She was my best friend, and she hadn’t been to the house in almost a year. I finally asked her why I always had to come to her house. At first I thought it was because of the baby. That’s when she told me it was because my house smelled horrible. She told me that ever since I got the animals; the house had become pungent. She told me I needed an extra strong air purification system and different air filters. I asked what she meant about air filters. She told me to ask the HVAC technician when he came over to install the air purification system. I got the hint, and I told my husband. He thought she was exaggerating, but he thought about his mother’s comment about the stench in our house. He called the HVAC company and asked about a whole home air purification system. When the HVAC tech arrived, I asked him for air filters that were made for families with multiple animals. He brought one in and gave me a card with the information on it, then went to work installing the whole home air purification system. The next time we went out and came back in, there was a distinct smell in the house. It smelled of fresh air and not animals.
