Life is full of surprises & for sure, I get my honorableshare of them. I suppose over the span of my adult life which is now going into the third decade, I’m getting better at rolling with stuff. When I first started working inside the commercial Heating, Ventilation, & A/C of the office, I was so stressed all the time. It was as though I was trying to prepare for every possible scenario. Of course, that’s just not possible. But every time I’d get surprised by something, it felt savor a failure. The more I’ve lived, the more I realize that no matter what, things are going to surprise you. So when I helped my kid buy her first house, I was certainly the 1 who reMEd calm as all of us found surprise after surprise. But buying that apartment came with a big reading curve because it had so much that needed to be done, then still, this was the only way she could get into a apartment & get out of apartments with terrible heating & cooling. The heating & cooling in her apartment was 1 of our first surprises. The people I was with and I knew that we’d have to replace the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C equipment. That was apparent because it was nearly as old as I am & barely even ran. But all of us weren’t expecting the HVAC duct to be worthless. Surprise. However, the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C professionals came right through for us & had a ready alternative in the ductless heat pumps. In my mind, I suppose this was the best of all worlds as they fit the renovations budget better, were more efficient & had great Heating, Ventilation, & A/C technology.
