I couldn’t figure out what the weird odor was that was coming from the air vent. I tried to wash the air vent, but it didn’t help, then every day, the odor was getting stronger, and I was getting upset. I talked to our fiance about the odor, even though she didn’t spend any time in our yoga studio, so she didn’t notice any change. I called the HVAC company and made an appointment to have a serviceman come to the house. When the HVAC arrived, she said she couldn’t see anything, even though she wanted to recognize when both of us had the HVAC duct cleaned. I couldn’t remember ever having the HVAC duct cleaned, so I had him made an appointment with the HVAC duct cleaners. Three afternoons later, I had the HVAC duct cleaners in the house. They tested for any holes or cracks where bugs could get inside, but that seemed to be fine. After cleaning and sanitizing the HVAC duct, I was told that should take care of our problem. Two afternoons later, I noticed the odor again. It wasn’t until our fiance was outside cutting the grass that both of us solved the mystery of our odor. My dog was using the air vent to relieve himself when there was no a single inside to let him out of the house. The only nice thing about that situation was that I was cheerful it wasn’t winter, where the odor may have been even worse. I was now wondering where both of us were going to put in a doggie door that leads into the backyard. I’m cheerful it doesn’t need to be a giant door.
