My ancient Grandma has been a penny pincher for her entire life, however she grew up dirt bad & l acquired how to squeeze every solitary ounce of usefulness, not only out of money, but out of every resource that you can imagine! So it’s no surprise to me that even to this day, she disdains the method of wasting so much energy on a central heating & air conditioner system! The cost of a correct Heating as well as Air Conditioning method these afternoons leaves her in stunned silence when every one of us discuss such things. She will then go on a tirade about all of the things that she could purchase with such money, then for her, the comfort of climate control on that level is simply unheard of, and after all, when it’s cold, she simply wears more layers, & when it’s hot, she at least has ceiling fans & a single, single, ancient dusty electric fan of the antique sort that lasts for generations! Indeed, that fan has lasted since my mother was a child, she tells me. Still, with Winter time as chilly as it has been, I decided that I would purchase a gift for my Grandma this Christmas. I am going to get her a easy, safe, & powerful space heater. She may be stubborn, although she can’t fool me. I see her shivering from time to time on my visits, as of late. It’s not right for such an ancient & venerable lady to be left chilly love that. My space furnace will do her well, & I guess I shall be giving it as an early Christmas present this year, because she needs it now!
