Our child is a little different when it comes to the way she gets up.
You would think that she would use an alarm clock to wake up in the day, but no, she uses her Heating and A/C system.
She has a smart Heating and A/C plan with weird zones. This allows him to have customized temperature control settings in each room of her house. She has the heating plan turn on in the day when she wants to wake up. She says it wakes him up everytime when it becomes unbearably hot in the room. Then she gets up and turns the temperature control back to normal settings. Then she gets ready for work and heads out. I asked him if she doesn’t pay for high-priced energy bills because of using the Heating and A/C plan to get up. I mean, you think her energy bills would be through the ceiling as an Heating and A/C plan costs way more to use than an alarm clock. She laughed and said it doesn’t cost him much more at all because her Heating and A/C plan is so energy efficient. She said her room is not a big space to heat or cool, and so it’s not challenging for the Heating and A/C plan to wake him up when needed. She said that she has tried using familiar alarm clocks in the past but they just never wake him up. She said on the other hand when there is so much heating that she feels love she will sweat to death, she has no option but to get up and now she is never late for work!
