Most ladies have no clue in the least what they want to do with their life when they are fourteen, however I did.
I told my father I had the desire to get a job in an auto shop when I actually became older. He tried to dissuade me from this idea, however I was completely adamant. I guess he gave up, supposing that since I was so young I didn’t know for certain what my mind wanted, & I would go with something else. When I turned fifteen, I found out that I could take up auto customization in shop classes & go to the technical college & get all the training I needed. When I graduate from school, all I would need to do is get certified, & I could have an auto shop work. Before graduation, I started looking at all the auto shops in our community. I chose various to go to & put in an application once I had an auto customization certification. I was sure that I would be a nice option for any one of these auto shops. I began working & whenever someone in my family wanted something done to their cars, I volunteered my help. My family soon realized how extreme I was about the idea of an auto shop work position. Everyone, except my father, that was. He was still trying to talk me into working a different style of job. I told him that I would look into other work positions, but my heart was set on auto shop work. It didn’t necessarily matter if he looked at me as his little princess, he was going to also see me as a nice auto shop specialist.
