I have a hack for sunburns

Last summer, some friends and I decided to take a road trip to the beach! Both of us barely brought any extra clothes, however we used all the storage section in my car for cold drinks, food, and multiple hours of our favorite music.

The drive was slow since we hit some construction along the way, however we got to our destination in no time, then instead of checking into the hotel, we chose to park on the beach, and start enjoying the sunshine.

We had a good time playing in the waves, throwing frisbees, and just enjoying some well-deserved leisure time. Both of us were having such a wonderful time that I forgot to put on sunscreen, and by mid-afternoon, I was covered in sunburns, but discouraged, I walked back to the hotel to take a shower and put aloe on my skin! Afterward, I turned on the a/c in the room and laid on the bed. The cool air from the powerful a/c felt so soothing on my burnt skin, that I felt so relaxed and fell asleep. I woke up a few hours later when my friends came back from the beach, and to my surprise, my skin no longer felt burnt! I was still a little red, however the a/c worked so well to soothe the pain of sunburn so I could rest and heal. The a/c was running so hard that all my friends said it was cold in the room, however it felt wonderful to them after a morning at the beach. If it weren’t for the efficient a/c in the hotel, my whole weekend would have been ruined, however thankfully, I was able to enjoy the rest of my weekend at the beach, with sunscreen, of course.
