I sincerely didn’t recognize I was in the position to get new cooling unit when our AC plan broke down. The Heating & A/C tech who was checking everything out for us was really kind & expertiseable though. She said if the two of us didn’t want to use window AC units or go for a new cooling plan replacement, the two of us could typically go for a DIY ductless mini split She explained that the average homeowner could handle such an replacement & the two of us would save a lot of money. I really thought it was weird that this Heating & A/C professional was saying I could do the work on our own when she genuinely could have only told myself and others about her replacement options so she could turn a profit. She wasn’t interested in making a profit though, she was interested in making sure the two of us weren’t going to be annoyed in our home without any air conditioner. I ended up looking into the ductless mini split s. I couldn’t think it when I saw these systems gave both heating & cooling. The kind Heating & A/C professional didn’t tell myself and others about the heating side & how the heating could be supplied in a home down to drawback 5 degrees fahrenheit. That genuinely is impressive. I decided to buy this ductless mini split & had it delivered to our home. I was happy to get going with the replacement, & it wasn’t that terrible to be honest. The hardest part for myself and others was the electric connections & hooking up the emergency shut off, but once it was all done, I had perfect temperature control settings in our home once more!
