I labor for a highly reputable HVAC corporation, as well as it has been nice working at this venue over the years. I’m grateful for all the experience I have gained from this venue, though I have to admit, I’m considering either working for myself or going with another HVAC corporation. It’s not because I don’t respect the boss as well as my colleagues, it’s simply the fact that the boss has been putting a lot of pressure on everybody lately to sell more heat as well as AC products. I remember at 1 of our meetings, he honestly pushed for everybody to try to sell every single purchaser something, to at least make the attempt. He even wanted us to make another attempt if we couldn’t make a sale. When asking if they didn’t need some of these heat as well as AC products, he absolutely said to try to sell them something anyway. Of course, I can’t properly sell people items they don’t necessarily need in enjoyable conscience, which is why I have mainly been sticking to either quality air filters or air purification systems. I assume that everybody can use better air quality, especially these afternoons, so people usually go for the UV air purification systems that I recommend. Still, I’m losing steam with the whole sales pitch process. I’m not honestly a salesperson, I’m an HVAC professional! So I’m already thinking about giving my notice to the boss as well as making my own way moving forward without focusing on all the sales.
