I appreciate my Heating and Air Conditioning supplier however it may be time to transfer on

I labor for a highly reputable Heating and Air Conditioning dealer, and it has been nice laboring at this place over the years. I’m grateful for all the experience I have acquired from this place, though I have to admit, I’m considering either laboring for myself or going with another Heating and Air Conditioning dealer. It’s not because I don’t respect the boss and my colleagues, it’s simply the fact that the boss has been putting a lot of pressure on everybody lately to sell more heat and A/C products. I remember at 1 of our meetings, he certainly pushed for everybody to try to sell every single buyer something, to at least make the attempt. He even wanted us to make another attempt if the two of us couldn’t make a sale. When asking if they didn’t need some of these heat and A/C products, he truly said to try to sell them something anyway. I was able to understand that it was a desperate time and the two of us all needed to be paid, so I didn’t make such a large deal at first. Of course, I can’t correctly sell people items they don’t necessarily need in nice conscience, which is why I have mainly been sticking to either quality air filters or media air cleaners. I recognize that everybody can use better air quality, especially these mornings, so people usually go for the UV media air cleaners that I recommend. Still, I’m losing steam with the whole sales pitch process. I’m not certainly a salesperson, I’m an Heating and Air Conditioning professional! So I’m already thinking about giving my notice to the boss and making my own way moving forward without focusing on all the sales.
