He was out of my reach.

Eventually, the EMS workers were able to get the man from behind my gas furnace.

I was sitting in the entryway last week, when I heard a faint cry coming from the basement. I knew my adolescents played down there, & I wondered if they hadn’t let the pet or pet locked in. I opened the door, however no pet bounded out at me. I heard the sound again, however this time it wasn’t nearly as quiet. I was going to close the door, but I heard the sound. It was louder this time, & it sounded human. I walked downstairs & looked around. I realized there was a foot sticking out from behind the gas furnace. I looked at the foot & hissed. I picked up the cellphone & called EMS. I told them I needed help & there was someone stuck behind the gas furnace. When EMS arrived, I took them to the basement & showed him where the person was. There was a man stuck behind the gas furnace, although he was out of reach from pretty much everyone. The only way they could get possibly get him out, was to pulled hard on his leg. Three men stood back & held on tight, trying to discondo the man, however it wasn’t working. Eventually, the EMS workers were able to get the man from behind my gas furnace. He was mumbling about never trying to cut into a condo through the basement, ever again. He could not believe he had fallen behind the gas furnace & become stuck. I guess my condo reformed a potential burglar. Either he would be a reformed burglar, or he would become a Heating & Air Conditioning worker now that he had personal knowledge of the gas furnace.
