Cabin style of vacation

I really want to do a cabin style trip this year.

Every year my husband and I either vacation to the tropics or overseas.

We always pick a warmer destination. I have to buy new swimsuits, flip flops and pack sunscreen. I research pools, beaches and surfing as well. This year I want to do something that is colder. I am looking at going to a cooler destination and sleeping in a cabin. I don’t want to rough it though. I want to be in the woods so I can hike, fish and kayak. I don’t want to sacrifice indoor plumbing though. I additionally want to have a quality heating system in our accommodations. I have looked at a bunch of cabins and I am very particular about the quality of the heater system. I don’t want to just have a wood stove or a fireplace. I really don’t want to deal with gathering, chopping and drying wood for heating. I want a quality boiler system, heated flooring or a furnace. It costs more money to have a higher end heating system. Most cheaper accommodations want you to get by with the fire option. For me I would rather save and spend more on the heater than anything else. Typically the better heaters mean better cabins. That also means a superior location to hiking routes, the lake and a better view. I think it is worth paying al ittl emore to have good heating at night. I really don’t want to freeze on this trip. I want my husband to like being in a colder area.
