This property needs a lot of work that I sometimes think is not with it. I may not be in a position to handle all the financial obligations involved. Having moved here after inheriting my grandparents’ wooden farm house, I had my work cutout for me. My grandparents were using this property as a rental to make a little bit of extra income that supplemented their retirement earnings. Sadly not everyone cares about other people’s property like their own. This previous tenant left the farmhouse in a mess. I could not understand how people can rent a space like this and fail to care for it properly to the extent of not washing it. They even punched holes in the walls all over. Also surprising was the fact that when I took over the property from them there was so much to handle. In fact, it was in a state of chaos. It’s definitely going to be a lot of work for me to change things around or even upgrade the farmhouse into a modern abode for me to comfortably move in. One of the things to do first is to work on getting a new cooling system installed. The old central HVAC system in this property had worked for 2 decades. It needed to be upgraded to a new modern HVAC system. Afterwards, I chose to buy a dehumidifier to help manage the humidity inside the house. Having lived in a particularly humid environment and knowing how to cope with severe humidity in the Summer season, I knew a humidifier would work. With the dehumidifier running, the property would feel a lot more comfortable. It will also make sure the humidity gets to about 40%. I enjoy using dehumidifiers and cooling systems.
