I had a tough time sleeping last evening.
It was thundering all evening long, & the lightning was so vivid, it was lighting up the room, even though my curtains were closed.
I heard one loud crack that sounded like lightning had hit the house, however since I didn’t smell smoke, I went back to sleep, however when I got up this afternoon, the air was crisp & clean, & I went outside on the porch to appreciate my coffee. I sat there huddled in my robe with my hands wrapped around my Tim Hortons Latte mugs, & looked around the yard, and that’s when I realized there was a tree in my yard. It had fallen in the middle of the storm, & it was on top of my cooling system unit. I closed my eyeah & prayed fruitlessly that it hadn’t detrimentd the cooling system unit. I waited until the sun came up & assessed the detriment, not only had the tree landed on the cooling system unit, however one of its branches had impaled the cooling system unit. I could not know the tree hadn’t broken a window or done detriment to the house. I called the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C supplier & told them what had happened. I already had a tree repair coming to disconnect the tree. My wifey thought my friend and I should split the tree up ourselves, despite the fact that I didn’t want to tackle the job. I told her the insurance supplier may pay for everything, however even if it didn’t, I would not split down the tree when it could detriment the cooling system unit even more & possibly do detriment to the house.
