Normally when it’s the summer months, and it’s really hot out I do what most people would do when they start feeling the heat. I turn on my air conditioning system of course. However, due to some unfortunate circumstances I was not able to use my AC system this time around. The problem all started last year. Last year we had major heat waves that came through during the summer and it completely caused my air conditioning system to break down. Once my air conditioning system broke down I never bothered to fix it. I have just been using a fan to keep cool the entire time. This is not what I wanted and not what I would have preferred. But the reason that I decided to not have my air conditioning system repaired, wasn’t really much of a decision at all but more of something I couldn’t do. You see, I didn’t have the money to afford the repair of my AC system and so I just gave up and started using a fan. Then I upgraded to using a window AC system which was a little bit better but still was nothing compared to my central AC unit. I haven’t used my air conditioning system since last summer, and now we’re in the summer months again and I’m finding it hard to keep cool. I’ve gone an entire year without having my central AC working. I then discovered something that might have helped me though. HVAC service plans, if you sign up for one and pay a monthly fee you’ll be able to have access to Heating and cooling repairs that you might not be able to do otherwise. I haven’t tried it yet but I think I’m going to check it out.
