I got my grandfather’s old wood stove.
I feel so blessed to be able to use my grandfather’s old wood stove.
I actually use it to heat my house during the winter months. It is so much cheaper to use it to heat my house than to use my furnace to heat my house. I was paying around a hundred and thirty dollars a month to heat my house during the winter months, and now, I pay nothing. I have to chop firewood of course, but it isn’t a big deal to me. I think of it as exercise, and I actually really enjoy it. I have plenty of land with thousands of trees, so I don’t think I will have to worry about getting low on firewood anytime soon. I am so thankful that my grandfather left me the wood stove. It dates back to the early nineteen hundreds. It actually belonged to my great grandfather before my grandfather. It has so much family history behind it, and I will never get rid of it. I plan to use it as long as possible and maybe even pass it on to one of my children someday. I am simply amazed at how much heat that little wood stove puts off. I have it in my living room, and it heats the whole house. I don’t have a huge house, but it isn’t super tiny either. I love my little wood stove, and I tell everyone who comes over to my house about it. I am sure that my family has heard my rant about my wood stove several times, and they are probably sick of it, but I can’t help but talk about it.
