I chose to move over here to do HVAC systems repairs and work for this local contractor friend of mine and pursue my career in music
It is 9am and I am working away like a good little boy. I will work till 10am and then head down to the beach for a dip, and then I’ll come back and knock out the rest of my work here in the office. I’m listening to my mom’s lovely voice about some family stuff with my uncle, who has been diagnosed with a deadly disease. It is sad to hear, but then again, he has been living unhealthily for the past 40 years and kind of did it to himself I guess. Doing my heating and cooling work gives me some stability and structure, and I am happy that I have an HVAC systems job to do each day to help put food on the table and pay my rent. I would like to talk to my uncle but I am sure he isn’t feeling too good about his diagnosis. Just be happy you are alive and healthy because it isn’t guaranteed to last forever. My oil furnace isn’t going to last forever either, as the HVAC tech who serviced it told me that it was on its last leg a few years ago. I am a bit sad being overseas while my family gets older and lives and dies without me even being in the country.
