Free spa treatment to compensate for a malfunctioned air conditioning system

I decided to take my husband for a short getaway during the holidays. I booked a hotel room for us during our stay there. When we got to our suite, I discovered that the digital thermostat could not regulate the temperature well, and I decided to report to the management of the hotel. They promised to call in for air conditioning service. The temperatures there were higher than in our home area, and it would be unfavorable for us to be in a hotel room without a good ac unit to help with indoor comfort. I wanted this holiday to be memorable for both of us. The a/c worker checked on it and informed us that the ductless mini-split unit in our suite was the problem and needed a new air conditioning unit to replace it. I hoped an air conditioning tune-up would solve the problem, but I have yet to find a way to do so. At this point, I was getting frustrated because we were there to relax and unwind and not to deal with a cooling specialist and air conditioning service. I asked the management to assign us a new room if no suite was available, but all the rooms were already full. A typical HVAC installation usually takes a full day, but since the only one they would replace was just a single unit and not the complete electric heat pump, it would take less than two hours. The manager assured us he would go to a nearby indoor comfort business and purchase quality HVAC. The manager offered us a complimentary spa treatment to compensate for the interruption. At the same time, they worked on it. Two and a half hours later, the a/c professional sourced the unit from the cooling corporation and successfully installed it.
