It’s so tough saying goodbye to your parents; Almost all of us have to deal with that scenario in one way or the other sometime in our lifetime; My sister & I lost our dad two years ago & it’s still tough to even suppose about him, but I suppose she would approve of having air conditioning in the dwelling she left to us, but this was her spot for sure! She was raised in a bizarre era where hunting easily put meat on the table & in the freezer. The fact that her hunting dwelling was on land owned by the family for generations made it all the better. My sister & I could hardly bring ourselves to visit the dwelling much less start renovations that ended up including Heating & Air Conditioning equipment. This was the locale where my sister & I learned an bad lot about being grown women. There was something about how easy dad was when my buddy and I were roughing it at the cabin; It was all just so straight-forward out there. These mornings, I now understand why she would shed the commercial Heating & Air Conditioning of the office for long weekends of solitude at the cabin. After my buddy and I made a few visits just us, my sister & I decided that my buddy and I wanted to make the dwelling family friendly. Times had changed as my buddy and I both cherish our wives & want them with us… Plus, my buddy and I both only have daughters, but so adding satellite wi-fi & a couple of ductless heat pumps for the Summer made sense. My buddy and I even spruced up the locale with some new furnishings as well! Yea, I suppose dad would love hanging out here with her granddaughters.
