She didn’t understand why I couldn’t just sweep my own home even after I explained that the vacuum can reach certain arenas in my home that I don’t consistently clean. Personally, I love the robot vacuum cleaner and it’s one of the best gadgets in my home. Aside from the robot vacuum cleaner, she thought that my portable air conditioner was a useless purchase, that was until it became our saving grace and gave a comfortable night of rest. Last month, my pal and I had a ladies’ trip weekend with a few of our childhood friends. And my pal and I rented a house in the woods that overlooked a serene lake. The house had climate control, but when my pal and I got there, my pal and I noticed that it was a bit hot inside. After being inside the house for a few hours, my pal and I realized that the temperature control was at 72 degrees and hadn’t cooled down the cabin. As luck would have it, I had my portable air conditioner in the trunk of my car. I had bought it a few days before the trip, and I forgot that it was in my car. I noticed it when I was packing for the trip and for some reason, I decided just to leave it there. Perhaps my guardian angels were protecting me because my pal and I were able to use the portable air conditioner when my pal and I realized the air conditioner in the house wasn’t laboring correctly. All in all, the portable air conditioner became our saving grace, and I even got my sister to confess that it was a nice purchase.
