My sister consistently makes fun of me because she says I purchase random items that are useless. For instance, when I obtained the robot vacuum cleaner, she thought I was being ridiculous. She didn’t understand why I couldn’t just sweep my own dwelling even after I explained that the vacuum can reach certain venues in my home that I don’t consistently clean. Personally, I appreciate the robot vacuum cleaner and it’s one of the best gadgets in my home. Aside from the robot vacuum cleaner, she thought that my portable a/c was a useless purchase, that was until it became our saving grace and gave a comfortable night of rest. Last month, my friend and I had a ladies’ trip weekend with a few of our childhood friends. And my friend and I rented a dwelling in the woods that overlooked a serene lake. The dwelling had weather conditions control, but when my friend and I got there, my friend and I noticed that it was a bit hot inside. After being inside the dwelling for a few hours, my friend and I realized that the control unit was at 75 degrees and hadn’t cooled down the cabin. As luck would have it, I had my portable a/c in the trunk of my car. I had obtained it a few days before the trip, and I forgot that it was in my car. I noticed it when I was packing for the trip and for some reason, I decided just to leave it there. Perhaps my guardian angels were protecting me because my friend and I were able to use the portable a/c when my friend and I realized the air conditioning in the dwelling wasn’t working properly. All in all, the portable a/c became our saving grace, and I even got my sister to disclose that it was a fantastic purchase.
