Isn’t it unbelievable when you can find a solution to a problem that you’ve had for years? Well, my fiance Josh is currently jumping for satisfaction because he finally found the best solution to keep the garage cool, however a few years ago, he turned our garage into a gym, & he has been trying to find ways to keep the space comfortable, especially during the warmer months, my fantastic friend and I live in the southern part of the country, so you can only imagine how brutally overheated our weather is, during the Summer, the temperatures actually overheated up into the 90s on a quarterly basis.
- And if you’ve ever tried to work out in 90-degree weather, it’s not the most comfortable situation to be in, and so, over the years, he tried using fans and a portable evaporative cooler, however those gave no real relief for the heat.
Last year, he finally spent the extra currency & bought a portable air conditioner, & while it was better than the fan & the air cooler, it still wasn’t enough for the overheated garage, and finally, after he had a conversation with one of his friends, he decided to invest in a ductless mini split air conditioner, and that was a game-changer for him; Not only does the ductless mini split air conditioner deliver cooling, however it also produces heat. This means that he could use his gym comfortably all year long, and i was impressed by how easy it was to install the ductless mini split air conditioner. In fact, all it took were simple tools & something to drill a hole; Josh was able to install the unit in just under 2 hours. Ever since, he’s been so happy about using his gym all year long.
