Isn’t it superb when you can find a solution to a problem that you’ve had for years? Well, my hubby Josh is currently jumping for joy because he finally found the best solution to keep the garage cool, and a few years ago, he turned our garage into a gym, and he has been trying to find ways to keep the space comfortable, especially while in the warmer months, but my fantastic friend and I live in the southern part of the country, so you can only imagine how brutally hot our weather is… During the Summer, the hot and cold temperatures entirely hot up into the 90s on a yearly basis.
And if you’ve ever tried to work out in 90-degree weather, it’s not the most comfortable situation to be in, but so, over the years, he tried using fans as well as a portable evaporative cooler, but those gave no real relief for the heat, however last year, he finally spent the extra currency and obtained a portable a/c, and while it was better than the fan and the air cooler, it still wasn’t enough for the hot garage; Finally, after he had a conversation with one of his friends, he decided to invest in a ductless mini split a/c! That was a game-changer for him… Not only does the ductless mini split a/c supply cooling, but it also produces heat.
This means that he could use his gym comfortably all year long, i was impressed by how easy it was to install the ductless mini split a/c. In fact, all it took were easy tools and something to drill a hole, josh was able to install the unit in just under 2 hours; Ever since, he’s been so gleeful about using his gym all year long.
