A/c repair at the clinic

I had just finished installing a thermostat in a nearby home which was all I had scheduled to do that day.

I had the rest of the day off to celebrate my nephew’s birthday and catch up on family time.

He was the first grandchild and had been my parents’ only grandchild for six years. My parents doted on him. On my way home, I received a phone call from my family doctor, which surprised me. He had called the air conditioning company and was told that I was not at work. He asked if I could check out his dual fuel system and check what needed a/c repair. He further explained that there was constant oscillation in cooling which made him suspect something was wrong with the air conditioning system. He knew I worked as an a/c workman when I was part of the crew that did the a/c installation in the clinic, which was my first job. I also devised the perfect service plan for the cooling products, including air conditioning filter replacements. Last year, we installed new quality HVAC equipment in the church with better SEER ratings. I informed him I was tied up for the day but would be available the following day. I offered to send another a/c rep to work on the a/c install unit, but he told me he could wait. When I went there the next day, it was clear they needed a/c care; the washable filter was in dire need of replacement as it was damaged. The clinic also wanted me to set up an air purification system to improve the air quality. There was also a leak in the ductwork that I sealed. I did a tune-up on the thermostat.
