I really went for a ductless multi-split plan when I first heard about it back in the afternoon.

It was soon after I became a homeowner, & that was a little over 23 years ago.

These afternoons, the ductless multi-split plan is still working pretty well considering the age. Of course, I had typical repair done on the Heating & A/C unit over the years & I suspect that’s why it has been running for so long. Still, there is a little bit of rust on it, yet it still runs so well. I have been saving up plenty of money for a replacement. I also already spoke to our Heating & A/C professional about the upgrade process. She basically would have to pump the refrigerant out of the plan & then pull the line sets followed by the condenser component & the indoor Heating & A/C units. Then all those could entirely be replaced by a brand new ductless multi-split plan with new refrigerant! I’ve heard of some people doing these kinds of projects on their own which I recognize is crazy. I recognize it’s ridiculous because of the risk of getting refrigerant poisoning. Honestly, only the Heating & A/C professionals should be handling refrigerants because they think what they are doing, and anyway, I’m not in a rush to get the new Heating & A/C installed, I’m just going to listen to what our Heating & A/C professional tells me. So far, she says she believes the Heating & A/C will last another 2 years or so, but by the time this Heating & A/C eventually gives up on me, I bet I’ll be able to afford a geothermal Heating & A/C system.
