As a result I didn’t have much of a choice except to bite the bullet & spend my money the price & this time around it was much more fancy because of all the repairs that were now needed. I had come to suppose the HVAC company entirely well, & thankfully they were always tolerable & didn’t try to sell me additional services that I didn’t need. The repairman came out & fixed both my furnace & my & everything was as nice as new again, it wasn’t cheap, in fact it cost me a lot but in the end it was worth it. I have had annual tune-ups ever since then.

I easily dislike the furnace that is in my house.

• It has always had such a creepy vibe to it, & to make matters worse it is situated in the basement of all places! Seriously that thing could star in a horror motion picture, & it doesn’t even do a nice job of heating the house.

Boilers can be quite pricey to have installed, & I just can’t afford the upgrade fee & so for the time being I am stuck with the creepy furnace, and just last night I went down to the basement to get my clothes out of the dryer & from the time I stepped down there I felt all the warmth leave my body, and despite the furnace being on & making loud, horrifying noises, it was frosty as ice down there. I could have been kneeling in the snow & it would have been just as cold. All the hair on the back of my neck stood up & I couldn’t help but to shiver. I rushed down the steps & got my clothes before running back upstairs. I suppose some might call it childish, but I can’t wait to get rid of that ancient & ugly gas furnace, it is too creepy for my apartment anyways.

I’m renting right now until I can save enough money to buy our genuinely first house.

Even though I’m renting, I was still able to find a home this time around instead of another cramped apartment.

The rent was a tiny bit higher than our previous apartment, but it came with more space, a garage, a backyard, plus other amenities you can’t get with apartments plus condominiums. However, I wish I had not told them to avoid spraying insect pesticides outside around the base of the house. I have respiratory sensitivities plus was afraid it would bother our lungs. Now I have a massive ant hill at the base of the Heating plus Air Conditioning condenser machine outside. The condenser is bolted down to a big concrete block that sits on the ground. The ants have formed a big colony in the dirt underneath the concrete slab, plus now they’re eating into the concrete itself. There’s a chunk of concrete the size of an pear missing from the block. I was shocked that insects could do this to concrete at all, but was even more sad because it’s the slab underneath an luxurious Heating plus Air Conditioning condenser unit.
