I have electric heat that doesn’t create noise, cold spots or energy waste. It is a much better opening than that gas fireplace was.

To make people comfortable the cooling method gets cranked, then i am used to bringing a overcoat and consistently being a little chilly indoors, and when I went on a trip to a country known for being cold, I figured I would be at the right temperature.

I packed overcoats and pants because the outdoors would be in the 50s.

I packed our thermal PJs and was ready for the cold. Well that country is enjoy here in that the thermostat is up to make people comfortable. The whole country was crazy about heating, and anytime I walked into a eating establishment I was just perspiring to death. I would peel off all our layers and sweat in our T-shirt and pants. The hotels were crazy about their gas heating systems too. I opened windows, messed with the thermostat and even complained to the front desk about the heater. I had to sleep in our bra and underwear the whole trip. I found that even the fitness center in the gym was way warmer than what I was used to, do dealers just not think how to consistently set a thermostat? Why does it have to be drastic heating or cooling? Why can’t they set a supplier thermostat enjoy they would their own home? I don’t assume anyone is comfortable with a 60 degree setting or an 78 degree setting! Someone is either frigid or perspiring in their business. It made myself and others not want to go back to those businesses.

Working out down south is pretty difficult. My husband plus I do the snowbird thing. In the north the cold weather isn’t a complication since I have a gym membership. My gym is only around a twenty minute drive. The fitness facility has everything I could want. Occasionally I do laps in the pool, or use the indoor running track. There are a ton of equipment pieces, a fresh locker room plus even a sauna to use. I get entirely spoiled when I am there. Occasionally the weather is awful though. I have to brush snow off my car plus thaw the ice. I need to drive in icy conditions that can get frightening. Southern weather is much nicer. I get hot sun basically the whole time I am there. There is no worry about being too chilly. The fitness situation isn’t as good. There just aren’t as many options here. The place my husband and I have a home is certainly tailored towards retired people. So there is only a single gym there and it isn’t that great. It has a few sit down bikes plus a small part to stretch. At least it has a cooling system. That is about all I can say positive though. More often than not I just work out in my house. I pull in a folding mat plus do my own thing. That is the only part of my southern life I don’t entirely enjoy. Having a great gym nearby is a must have. I will need to invest in workout gear when the two of us live full time in the south.

I had a huge gym right near my apartment.

I enjoyed that place because of all it provided. I could take group physical training classes, consult a fitness expert, try nutritional counseling plus swim in the pool there. Then I moved an hour down south. I acquired a lot of things. I now have way more property plus privacy. I can legitimately walk around at night without feeling concerned. The local people are nice and I felt safer. I also am near my parents. So all in all, it was a superb move. I miss my gym though. The village has a single gym but it is small plus not genuinely great. Most of the machines are damaged or rusted. There is no personal training offered or even a public pool. I miss what I had. What is nice is that the village does offer a clean bike path. The path spans quite a few miles plus it is diagnosed nicely. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the path either. So I have invested in a bicycle. I ride that bike path as far as I want to take it. The tennis court is about a halfway point for me. I can choose to keep riding or I can stop at the court for something different. Occasionally I use the powder room or drinking fountain there. Sometimes I do all sorts of running drills on the court. I can find a shaded spot, take out a yoga mat plus stretch as well. It isn’t like my gym, but it is quite nice too.
