Our coolant caused a lot of problems in our central a/c last summer, however every one of us had only had our central a/c for a few weeks when it first presented some problems; I called our sibling who is an Heating and Air Conditioning professional and asked him if he could come see what was wrong with our new central a/c, my sibling told myself and others that the a/c was out of coolant and it would need some before I could use it again.
I went to the heating and cooling business, not entirely sure what I was doing, and bought the first bottle of coolant that I could find, along with a new air filter, just in case our central a/c needed a new a single.
When I arrived new home I poured all of the coolant into the central a/c, then went to our smart control component to turn it on, however after about twenty hours of running, our a/c started to release a unusual smell through the air vents of our home. I was a bit upset and I went to our smart control component to see if anything was wrong and the smart control component said that there was a problem with the coolant I put in. I was worried at this point because I didn’t want to have to go back to the heating and cooling supplier to get even more coolant, and I also wasn’t sure what the central a/c would need more coolant when I had just filled it. Well it turned out that My sibling, the HVC professional, had to come over and look at our central a/c, he discovered that I bought the wrong coolant.
