Having issues with gas furnace

My gas furnace just can’t keep up with the demand of the weather! Although the heating plan is still really reliable, I’ve noticed a steady decline in capacity in the last few years.

I make sure to have the oil furnace professionally inspected every fall.

A professional serviceman handles the necessary cleaning, tuning and problemshooting. When necessary, he replaces various parts to ensure dependability, safety and efficiency, but despite my efforts, the gas furnace is showing signs of its age, however certain rooms in the condo tend to feel chilly on especially cold afternoons and days. In my local area, the Winter is by far the longest season. Both of us often start up the gas furnace sometime in September and it runs non stop until at least May. I’ve already been operating the oil furnace at the end of May. Both of us see hot and cold temperatures down to twenty-5 below zero. The gas furnace carries a large responsibility and it’s struggling. I’m not sure what to do about it. I suppose that there are gas heating systems on the new market that offer much higher AFUE ratings. If I were to replace my old oil furnace with a new alternative, I could significantly reduce my quarterly energy bills. This would help to recover the cost of purchase and installation. However, the replacement project is severely costly and would cause a large disruption to my home. I am considering purchasing a ductless heat pump instead. I can buy a split plan for under a thoUSnd dollars. I can get it installed for under a thoUSnd dollars. That’s a super adequate price to significantly increase the comfort of my home. These ductless systems are compact and wonderfully energy efficient. By lessening the requirements of the gas furnace, I’d definitely trim my quarterly expenses and help the oil furnace last longer.
