Got some good winter A/C advice

The whole idea of living in a colder area was quite exciting and disturbing to me… I’d only known beaches and sunshine for the duration of my life, but, because of work, I had to grow accustomed to snow and other unusual weather conditions.

Winter time honestly means a lot of things have to change, one issue that many people face is winterizing their a/c devices. The a/c is always at work during summer time to keep the space cool and comfortable. But, come winter, people have to begin relying on furnaces and winterize the outdoor unit, then you can do multiple things to make sure your outdoor HVAC device remains in tip-top shape during the nippy and long Winter time weeks. I came to learn this as my AC repair lady was tied up servicing my heating device last year. I was getting ready to experience my first full Winter season. So, I thought it was prudent to have my gas heating device checked out, and my new neighbor offered me contacts at a local AC supplier near the town. Since other people were ahead of me, I had to book an appointment and wait my turn. The AC device repair lady arrived in the afternoon to begin servicing the heating device, and both of us got to talk. I wanted to find out how to protect the outdoor HVAC in the cold season. She offered me the best advice I have ever been given. I honestly was cheerful I asked. The AC repair lady told me to ensure I clear the section of all debris and foliage. Then, she would change the air filter and clean the A/C condenser unit. In addition, it was important to cover the outdoor HVAC with an AC cover to keep critters, snow, and ice out of the device.
