With smart thermostats they are a good thing.
They absolutely make running your central HVAC idea much easier plus not to mention, they save you a lot of money on your daily heating plus cooling bills; However, when you have a complication with the computer inside of it that controls the app, this can make the smart thermostat a real headache.
And this is exactly what happened to myself and others recently. The computer inside the smart thermostat went faulty for some reason plus it would not react with my app. I had to call my local HVAC company to send out a certified heating plus cooling specialist to see what was wrong with my smart thermostat plus why it would not react with the app plus my central HVAC unit! When the heat plus air conditioner specialist arrived he found that there were several complications with the little computer inside the smart thermostat plus that the only way to fix this complication would be to supply myself and others a brand current smart thermostat. It was good that my smart thermostat was still under the 2 year warranty that I had purchased when I purchased it originally or I would have been up the creek plus would have had to buy a brand current smart thermostat to make it all work again! But thanks to the warranty, I didn’t have to do anything other than schedule the Heating plus A/C appointment with the local HVAC company to install the brand current smart thermostat.
