I thought it was attractive when the school started this program to donate window A/C units & portable cooling systems to families who were struggling.
Basically the youngsters would go around & collect these cooling machines & take them back to the school to be donated.
The program was such a large success through the summer time season that they decided to continue with the program in the Wintertide season, then of course in the winter, they were collecting portable furnaces so long as they were toiling respectfully & worked on for safety. There were even people who chose to donate their whole Heating, Ventilation & A/C units to other families in need which was extremely generous. Those people figured they wanted new Heating, Ventilation & A/C replaces anyway for something more energy efficient, so why not donate their old plan that was still toiling fine. A lot of those Heating, Ventilation & A/C systems that were donated could easily last another decade or so with respected repair & care. It’s just so taxing for myself and others to believe that every one of us have this extremely successful program in our area & so many people are benefitting. The community is more than happy to look after 1 another & I believe more schools should incorporate this type of program. If everybody had this type of program all around the country, there wouldn’t be nearly as many people suffering with no temperature control systems at home. When I believe about all those people who are constantly suffering from intense heat or cold to death in the winter, it breaks my heart. I want to do my area to help people.
