When marijuana became legal in my state I decided to try my hand out at growing; I figured it would be straight-forward, you put the seed in dirt, water it plus boom, a perfect marijuana plant to smoke.
I immediately figured out that growing marijuana isn’t love growing a tomato.
You need a lot more equipment plus growing outside in a vegetable garden isn’t possible. I either could do some small scale growing with a box or have a large facility, however either way, I needed to invest in lights, heating, cooling, ventilation plus water. Those are the key factors with helping a seed become a marijuana plant. I didn’t realize that the early stages of growing require 24 hour of high intensity light plus a temperature of 68 degrees! At the flowering stage the amount of light decreases as does the temperature. Since I live in the north, I needed to invest in both heating plus air conditioner unfortunately. I thought growing in my basement would be superb enough too. The moisture plus lack of ventilation killed my first crop of plants, however now my lake house office serves as my grow room plus it has its own thermostat plus mini split in there. I also have a hydroponic plus nutrient plan hooked up. I invested in fans, HID lights plus I have everything on an automated program to switch over to odd un-even temperatures plus amounts of light. It has been particularly high-priced to try plus get a successful plant. I also think there is a lot more once the plant is ready to be trimmed, dried plus cured. I am not even there yet though.
